New Addition

There is a new cat amusement/torture device at the house.

The lawn is trimmed and mostly weed free, there are a few ant emcampments though.

We can't actually put bird seed in the feeders that the prior owners left. Ash goes completely ape-shit and gets really agressive on the other cats.

Oh, that is evil.

I need to get one of those!

the shephard's crooks are about $10 at menards, and the bird feeders are about $3 each.

watching the cats, i'd say it was worth all $16 i spent on it.

Your hostas look lovely around that tree!

[livejournal.com profile] apocalyptikitty likes to hide in them when we try and take him back inside.

kitty? what kitty? i don't see a kitty...

also, as the [livejournal.com profile] manleyhouse, i hereby decree that you should build strawberry beds for [livejournal.com profile] alyska, and get her that chair hammock and flower boxes she keeps asking for.

*snerks*

I seem to remember that the chair hammock just came up last night in conversation as a new thing, and she also said she wanted to do the yard things, though I have been doing much of it. She has also only mentioned the flower boxes a few times and only in vague reference.

There are other things on the list for you that I am dealing with and those few things just mentioned? They don't even register.

Rosie likes to hide in the elephant ear hostas around our oak. Every now and then a little dog head pops up and then back down.

we need low-maqintainence stuff at our house. otherwise, i'd probably kill everything.

i wish i had the time to garden as i'd like to.
