Friday was the final walkthrough everything was looking good and more pictures were taken.
Saturday was spent looking for an oven, tale here.
Today the house be ours. Got out of work today at about 1pm, got![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
alyska and stopped at the CU for the largest cashiers check I have ever had or will have for quite a while. Then we stopped by the East side American and scheduled the delivery of the bedroom set. Then went to Sears and bought a freezer, as the house just has a fridge. Then it was off to the closing.
Closing was 45 minutes of initialing and signing papers, all smooth. Then it was off to see the house.alyska hadn't seen it since the only time she walked through. The lawn is all grown in and the landscaping is all out and looking good we walked around looking at things, alyska took pictures and notes on the landscaping. I pulled up a big chunk of the livingroom carpet to reveal the wood in pretty good condition, might need a sand and seal and a few screws covered, but very nice. Tanya stopped by and dropped of the color book for paint and saw the place.
My dad will be in tomorrow, for about a week, to help out with the transition to making it *our* home. By lending his experience and expertise of what I need to do with his help.
