just a quick picture post. jeffreyp and i hosted our very first all-growed-up dinner party for nine this weekend (table arriving in the nick of time, albeit broken.) i'm feeling a bit better about hosting christmas dinner at our place this year, though we'll still have to have a kiddie table.

* winter squash soup with garlic and sourdough croutons
* green salad with cranberries and pecans
* pumpkin nutmeg dinner rolls
* roast pork with barbeque
* caramel pecan pie
* jeanie's triple layer red velvet cake
* much tasty wine

so here's a decent shot of the kitchen with its purty cabinets, new floor, and purty new table.
